Design House Tulip 2-Way Latch Locking Privacy Bed and Bath Door Knob, Polished Brass

The Design House Tulip 2-Way Latch Privacy Door Knob locks from the inside with a simple turn-button and does not include a keyed cylinder. Finished in polished brass, it works on both left- and right-hand doors and fits the two most common backsets in the U.S. (2-3/4 inch and 2-3/8 inch). The 1/2-inch nickel-plated latch bolt is strong and secure, and privacy knobs can be opened from the outside with a generic tool in case of emergency. Designed for standard doors 1-3/8 to 1-3/4 inches thick, this knob comes with a 1-inch by 2-1/4-inch radius corner faceplate. For installation, the cross bore should be 2-1/8 inches in diameter and the edge bore should be 1 inch. ANSI Grade-3 certified, it’s rated for residential security.
