The Fragment x Nike Dunk High PS “Beijing 2021” is the preschool release of the modern interpretation of the collaboration between Hiroshi Fujiwara’s streetwear brand and Nike on a Dunk colorway that shows love to one of the world’s most fashionable cities. First appearing in 2010, the Fragment-designed “City Pack” honored New York, London, and Beijing with unique, mismatched colorways of the retro basketball and lifestyle shoe. Here, on the 2021 edition, Fragment and Nike do away with the “Beijing’s” original mismatched color block, opting for a more traditional, two-tone Dunk look. Details include purple leather on the perforated toe and on the mid-panel and collar. Black leather overlays can be found on the forefoot, eyelets, collar, and Swoosh. Fragment’s lightning bolt design appears on the lateral heel counter and industrial-style text is printed on the white midsole.
